The traditional two-wheel horse-drawn carriages of Mysuru are called Tonga’s. There are Tonga’s available near the palace for a 2 Km ride around the Palace for 50/-. Each Tonga can seat 4 people. There are around 30 Tongas in Mysuru. Ride around Mysuru Palace: Approx INR  200

Sarot is four-wheeled horse-drawn carriages that are popular among tourists in Mysuru. They are found near the Mysuru Palace. They have rides to various parts of the city. Each sarot can seat 6 passengers. Some of these sarots are fitted with LED lights and audio systems. There are around 10 Sarots in Mysuru. Ride around Mysuru Palace: Approx INR 300.
